About the Event
In support of Ronnie Gaubatz, esteemed co-worker at Maryville University, manager of web services extraordinaire and all-around fabulous friend, a group of admirers is hosting Rally for Ronnie, a dance event featuring a live band, art auction and raffle of wonderful items.
Ronnie is battling stage IV cancer. Her most fervent wish is to insure that her family – her husband, Doug, and their three daughters – can remain in their home for as long as they choose. The Rally for Ronnie fundraiser will go a long way toward helping her family build a long-term foundation of financial security.

About the Band
BUTCH WAX & THE HOLLYWOODS is a 9 member band from St. Louis featuring 2 keyboard players, 2 female singers, horns, and a fabulous rhythm section that is funky, soulful and fun — and second to none.
Butch Wax & The Hollywoods have been main stage performers during most of those 26 years, sharing the stage with the likes of Johnny Rivers, Chuck Berry, The Young Rascals, Lou Rawls, Johnnie Johnson, The Kentucky Headhunters, The Guess Who, The Association, The Romantics, Billy Peek, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and countless others. Members of the band also wrote, produced, and recorded several tracks with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Johnnie Johnson on his last album, which included performances with Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Hornsby, Johnny Rivers, and John Sebastian.
